How To Use An Electric Pressure Cooker?

1. Be sure to learn before using it. When using an electric pressure cooker for the first time, be sure to read the instruction manual of the pressure cooker. Be sure to follow the instructions, or ask someone who knows how to do it, and you must use it without learning.

2. Check before use. First, double-check that the vent hole is clear and that the hole under the safety valve seat is not blocked by rice or other food debris. If it is blocked by food during use, the pot should be removed from the fire source, and after forced cooling, the air holes can be cleaned before continuing to use, otherwise, the food will be sprayed out and scalded during use. Also, check for deterioration of the rubber sealing gasket. Rubber seals will age after a period of use. The aging rubber ring can easily cause the pressure cooker to leak. For this reason, it needs to be updated in time.

3. Open the lid, hold the handle of the lid tightly with your hand, turn the lid clockwise to the limit edge, and then up.

4. Take out the inner pot and put food and water into the inner pot. Food and water should not exceed 4/5 of the height of the inner pot; expandable food in water should not exceed 3/5 of the height of the inner pot; food and water should not be less than the inner pot. 1/5 the height of the pot. The maximum cooking volume of 4L, 5L, and 6L is 8 cups, 10 cups, and 12 cups respectively. 1 cup of rice with 1 cup of water. Users can adjust the amount of water according to different rice quality and personal tastes. The measuring cup has a capacity of 180ml.

5. Put the inner pot into the outer pot. Wipe the inner pot and heating plate clean before putting them in. Do not place debris on the surface of the outer pot and the heating plate; the inner pot and the heating plate are in good contact.

6. Close the lid and check whether the sealing ring has been set on the inner steel ring of the lid; turn the sealing ring left and right by hand to make it freely and evenly placed on the steel ring; cover the pot, and then turn the pot cover counterclockwise until The handle of the lid on the button must be completely overlapped with the handle of the pot before putting it on the stove to cook food, otherwise it will cause an explosion accident.

7. Place the pressure-limiting vent valve, turn the pressure-limiting vent valve to the "sealing" position, and check whether the float valve is lowered (the float valve is lowered before heating).

8. Turn on the power, and the boost light is on.

9. Set the pressure holding time according to the food. During the heating process, do not open the lid to prevent the food from bursting and scalding. Before confirming cooling, do not remove the heavy hammer or pressure regulating device, so as to avoid splashing food and hurting people. Open the lid after natural cooling or forced cooling.

10. Do not scrape with a sharp shovel. The pressure cooker must be cleaned in time after use. In particular, check the safety plug for food deposits and residues. In order to keep the appearance of the pot clean, do not use sharp tools such as knives, scissors, shovels, etc. Vertical scratches will damage the protective layer.

11. Do not pressurize without authorization. When in use, someone arbitrarily increased the weight on the pressure valve to increase the pressure in the pot and forcibly shorten the production time. However, the pressure in the pot has strict technical parameters, and ignoring this scientific design will lead to serious consequences of pot explosion and injury.
